BACKGROUND

The UEG is established to be a world-class university in the field of education that works to advance knowledge and produce graduates with creative, innovative and problem-solving skills to apply theoretical knowledge to solve real-world challenges for the advancement of teachers. The university is prepared to make a deep commitment to the development of teacher education by training highly skilled teachers who are able to disseminate knowledge and conduct impactful research with a high level of rigor and excellence. The UEG will lead the systematic development of both the science and art of teaching to nurture the next generation of teachers.

To be a world class university of excellence with a national character and which generates knowledge through research and innovation, feeds that knowledge into the teaching and learning of teachers and educators, and has an efficient and sustainable management of its programmes and resources

To produce qualified teachers and educationists using modern and innovative technologies and media to be highly competent in the subject matter of their specialization, equip them with the requisite pedagogic and methodological skills to provide relevant and quality teaching and learning to learners, and enable them to contribute to the efficient management of schools and education systems

• Colors: Use the university’s colors (light blue) as a base but feel free to be creative.
• Style: Modern yet timeless; professional and welcoming.
• Elements: Consider icons like books, open doors, light, or anything symbolizing growth and knowledge.
• Format: High-quality vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF).

• Deadline: 21st of February, 2025
